The first time to offer the Sashiko workshop in the city I live, Lewisburg, PA. I usually travel to NYC and bigger city to make the workshop happen. This time, I fortunately got a few people who wanted to & capable of taking the workshop in the same date.

It is always good to have people here, where I do Sashiko stitching. It isn’t organized well, but I can share how & what I create in daily bases. 今日は初めての”地元”でのワークショップです。いつもはNYCだったり都会だったりに出張しての刺し子ワークショップなのですが、今回は「淳の住んでるところ行くよ〜」という方が、無事に数人日程の調整も可能で、2年間で初めて実現しました。中には片道800km以上の距離を運転して駆けつけてくれる人もいて、本当に嬉しい限りです。頑張るよー。今日は写真撮れるかな……？

It was a great workshop. I feel so blessed I was able to attend your workshop in your home. You were not only a great teacher but a gracious host. Thank you for all the hard work that you obviously put into preparing the class. I really liked hearing background information about Sashiko and the Japanese culture. It was such a relaxed atmosphere. If you get a chance to take a class with Azu. Do it, you will not be disappointed. Have to go stitch now.
