The 3rd day. I completed the main frame of the Sashiko x Denim. The estimate of 20 hours for one-leg + mending was somewhat accurate. After doing another 100 of Sashiko x Denim, I probably can be 100% confidence in what I am doing 😀 ☆
The pattern, Shippou, helpmed me to speed up. Also, the denim was used and damaged enough to work on easiliy. I am so glad that our friend, @dagforce_y0 will wear it in Japan for his music tour. ☆
☆
@dagforce_y0 間に合ったよー!ガッツリ日本で履いて、またボロボロにして預けて下さいませ。
☆

I am spending good time with my mother Keiko as if there were no “missing 5 years” between us. It was 2018 when we spent time together. However, not everything is the same. I guess Keiko is “evolving”… or 5 years of sharing “Sashiko Stories” changed me to really realize…

This is an archive of Sashiko Live Streaming in English, on Friday October 16th. “Boro is not something we make – it is something we bring it up.” It is very difficult (almost impossible) to make the authentic Boro in today’s society. However, with fully using our imagination, it is…

    Hello, thank you for sharing all of your work with us. This weekend I did my first patch of sashiko stitching on an old pair of jeans. I am wondering if you double up your thread or if you just use it as it comes?
