We sincerely appreciate the customers who spend a lot of money to purchase our Jackets. Thanks to their investment, we can continue our creative activities with “having fun”. Another 14 months or so to make the similar Jacket (working with other projects concurrently). Several are on the way to make their debut in 2019.

For the amount of work we perform, we believe the pricing is quite fair. However, it is a fortune to spend on one Jacket. Therefore, we sincerely appreciate those who support us by purchasing our Jackets. Our goal is to not to make the “art collection”. We believe that the Sashiko really “shine” in situations of “using” them. For jacket, it is the best when someone wears that instead of displayed on the wall. A client once told us they purchased the “wearable Art”. We are very happy with their insight. ☆
We can take “semi-made-to-order” for this type of Hitomezashi Jacket. The production itself will take about 12 months to 18 months. The pricing will be somewhere $3,500 to $7,000 USD, depending on how much of vintage fabric the client want. We would like to keep making them. And instead of keeping them as our collection, we want someone to wear and use it to be next generation of “Boro”.

先日のワークショップで大作をご購入頂きました。刺し子小物が主流の中で、私達はできるだけジャケット、バッグ、ブランケット等を作ることを心がけています。「生活の中で用いることで本来の美となる刺し子」を実践したいという思いが根底にあります。とはいえ、制作に1年近く（以上）もかかる大作です。こうやってご購入頂いて、その際に次の材料が購入できるというような始末。それでもやっぱり、作り続けたいのです。「二ツ谷恵子の刺し子の真髄」は、まさにこのジャケットにあるように思うのです。（恵子さんは天才だという所以はここにあります。刺し子が上手な人は沢山いるけれど、このような刺し子の配置を作り出せるのは、刺し子とずーっと向き合ってきた恵子さんならではだと思っています。）
