I believe the rhythmical needle movement (Unshin) is one of the key factors to fully enjoy Sashiko. I have a lot of stories to tell you about this Unshin. Good news is that it doesn’t require many years of training to acquire the technique. Anyone can master this stitching method in an intensive 2~3 hours workshop and follow-up practice after learning the posture, how to hold the needle & use the thimble, concept, hint, and procedure. ☆

カレンダーを見てみたら、最後の運針会はなんと昨年の9月。本当にご無沙汰してしまったものです。のんさん（@non.mie.acha ）の美しい運針の動画の恩恵を頂いて、今年も運針会を継続ができそうです。まずは1月31日（木）の夜10時から3時間程の日程で、オンラインで行います。「オンラインで大丈夫なの……？」というご心配はあると思いますが、のんさんのビフォア・アフターを見てもらっても良いし、運針会に参加された方に聞いて頂いてもいいかなと思います。人によってコツをつかめる時間が違うので、「いつまでにできるようになる」とは断言できないのですが、姿勢、持ち方、コツ、意識することを最初に学んで頂いて「刺し子を続ける」と、誰でも必ずできるようになります。興味のある方はDM下さい。僕が米国在住の為、どうしても時差の関係で日本の夜中がメインになりますが、日本時間の平日のお昼に開催することも可能です。興味がある方は「平日昼間希望！」というだけでも良いのでご連絡頂ければ。ご要望がある時に、運針会を開催しています。もっと詳しく知りたい方は、以下のリンクを参考下さい。
