In Sashiko Mending on Denim, the Natural Dye Sashiko Thread is always a good choice after all. The synthetic colored Sashiko Thread insists its color a bit too much. In general, I would say that any kinds of Natural Dye would match the denim, and it is the matter of preference.

My favorite is the blue natural color such as Blues by Indigo and Logwood. Denim changes its color over time. The Natural dyes change colors by friction and natural light… I think it is so cool to spend time with these 2 different speed, and create “one of a kind fashion” together. (It is very difficult to take a photo the natural Dye Sashiko Thread since the natural dye change the color in the photo even taking the same material…)

使い古したデニムに刺し子をする際は、やっぱり草木染めの刺し子糸がお勧めです。化学染料で染めた糸は、どうしても色の主張が強すぎたりします。草木染めならどんな糸でも大丈夫だとは思っていて、後は好みの問題で。僕自身はやっぱりデニムの青と一緒に時を刻んでくれそうな青（藍やログウッド）が好みです。デニムも色が変わっていきます。草木染め刺し子糸も、摩擦や天然光により色が変わります。そのスピードが違う二種類の色の変化が、本当にカッコいいと思うのです。
