“Indigo x White” is the representitive combination in sashiko. I found the Pastel Colored Sashiko thread can be a good source for the Sashiko “Art”. I need to define (in myself) what Sashiko art is, but I am enjoying the collaboration of Pastel Color Sashiko Thread and white fabric. ★
刺し子といえば「藍と白」から成り立つ美しさが代表的だとは思うのですが、最近、パステルカラーの刺し子糸にも面白みを覚えるようになりました。「刺し子をアートとして捉える」試み。前に進めています。立体的に見えるのも面白い。
