One of my missions for 2018 has just took the first step. I wrote a blog post with an Interview from the Workshop Alumni who shared her Sashiko acheivement, Caroline (@carolinegreennyc).

I am very impressed by her creativity and Sashiko skill. These photos are all her acheivement (not mine, not Keiko’s). By learning how to use thimble and needle, one can speed up so much and make these beautiful pieces. Amazing. やっとでブログにできた……(英語ですが)。 ワークショップに参加下さった方の作品です。運針を習得して頂いて、その後楽しんで継続して下さって、リサイクルストアで数ドルで売っている服に、刺し子をしてオリジナルのものにして楽しんでいらっしゃいます。最高ですよね。そんなん。最近は運針会&ワークショップの卒業生の写真を紹介することができて、とても嬉しいのです。
