Our Sashiko Story to Your Sashiko Journey

A beautiful day today.

atsushijp, 2018年5月2日

A beautiful day today.
Finally enjoying the weather in T-shirt.
Although I haven’t completed the project, it is a good day to shoot a photo. It is too late to catch the full bloom, but the denim & Sakura is also beautiful.

Sashiko. Repair. Denim.
Well, regardless of my projects, my core passion is here.

I talked about “being special (≈ individualism)” in the previous post. I appreciate feedback that “I (Atsushi)” is special because of what I share. To be honest, though, I do not consider myself special. I know it because I tried so hard to be “special” in the past. ☆ If…

Every Friday, I offer “Sashiko Live Streaming” – an hour of Live Video of stitching Sashiko while taking about Sashiko culture, mindset, philosophy, and history (I usually do not answer the technical questions for several reasons. I will try to navigate questions to the answers when I can). On the…

Did you reinforce the fabric from underneath before adding the stitching? Getting ready to attempt my first project soon..
