This is a sample fabric to introduce all 20 regular colors of our Sashiko Threads. One of my projects when I restarted Sashiko.
It is my 3rd year since I “re-started” Sashiko in the US. We enjoy some of the achivement we have accomplished.
ワークショップの片付け。
昔に、針仕事のリハビリがてら作った、刺し子糸の色サンプルが。カセの状態だけじゃなく、実際に刺し子をした際の感覚が伝わればと作ったもの。
刺し子を再開して3年目。
やっぱり重ねたものが道を作るなぁと。目標達成の為に頑張ります。

While enjoying the Sashiko Bobbins preparation I start stitching the Sample of sashiko thread color. For now, our 5 gradation color. They are beautiful as they are… only 5 kinds of thread, but so many colors on Indigo Fabric. 糸巻き作りにハマったので、ついでに刺し子糸の刺し色サンプルも製作中。染分は直線だけでもカラフルになります。 2017-07-19 13:35:46 Source
The same patterns & the same way to draw Asano-ha. The difference is the size of pattern & size of stitches. There is no single same results in hand-stitching. Hand-made Samue (Workman Style Jacket), adjusted for toddler sizing with Japanese Denim. We didn’t add Sashiko stitching. Once the Samue is used, I will be more than happy to add some Sashiko stitching.
