Atsushi is working on “THE SAMPLE” for Sashiko work.
15 hours of needlework so far. About 25 hours of needlework to go. I used “moss-green” Sashiko thread which is similar color of denim. Why? I would like to enjoy the fading color of denim in contrast to Sashiko Stitching.

確固たるサンプル。約15時間分の針仕事です。
デニムの色合いと、ほぼ同系色となるモスグリーンで、麻の葉柄を全刺し。なぜ同系色かと言うと、デニムの色が褪せる程に刺しが出て来ればとの狙いです。
後25時間強で完成予定です。
さてどうなることやら（笑）

(Traditionally) Winter is the season for Sashiko. We prepare many Sashiko project over fall, then we see beautiful results (Sashiko items) in Early Spring.
