Our Sashiko Story to Your Sashiko Journey

The first day working in a while.

atsushijp, 2018年1月29日

The first day working in a while.
I realize how greatful it is to be healthy. I can handle my illness, but it was just too difficult to see my daughter being sick… I hope I can stream Sashiko Live tomorrow, as usual on Tuesday at 9 am.

Sashiko can be as simple as making straight lines. With choosing several vintage fabric, the straight lines can be like an art. Our life is pretty similar. The accumulation of days with appreciation will make the life meaningful and beautiful.

We use(d) many types of Geometric Patterns in Sashiko Stitching. There are reasons why we used the Geometric Patterns, and reasons become stories as we interpret. Stories create “meaning”. In the meaning, we sometimes can find a form of praying – one reason I enjoy Geometric Pattern & one definition…

October 14th, I shared photos of “a meal on Boro” expressing how “strange/wrong” they were. Did you notice that there were 2 photos? Today’s photo is the 2nd photo… the photo I didn’t use as the main because I thought I needed the explanation. ☆ A serving of meal on…

Straight line is the most difficult.
