A group photo with Sashiko artisans in Otsuchi.
The bag they hold is made by each artisan. Their works look great, and they improved their Sashiko skills by a lot.
I feel happy, and somewhat proud of them.

I spend a few days to refurbish an antique furniture. It was my first trial, but I enjoyed the process a lot. It resonate my experience with Sashiko. “Upcycle” ater all. — The antique surface looks nice with Sashiko fabric, too 🙂 — 数日かけてじっくり取り組んでいたアンティーク家具の再生も、今日ワックスを塗って完成。 — 2018-06-16 21:12:18 Source
