I kind of gave up to do Asano-Ha Sashiko on the Denim Jaket since the fabric is too hard. The next project is Sashiko on the softer denim pants. Well… my fingers are in pain after I finished stitching the same pattern. I will go further on this project, though.
結局デニムジャケットへの麻の葉柄は固すぎて諦めました。少し柔らかいデニムジーンズで麻の葉挑戦……もまた固くて指が挫け中（笑）
でも今回は頑張りたいです。

私も去年、デニムでアイヌの着物を作りました。16ozは固かったけれど、12ozくらいならかなり柔らかくて扱いやすかったです。指はたしかに穴が開きました。だからデニムのときはニチバンの防水絆創膏（パッドなし）を予め貼っておくと大丈夫でした。

@piyosmade ジャケットのデニムは固すぎて運針ができず……ジーンズは運針できたのですが、15針も縫うと針が通らず。針が曲がってしまいました。
@pirikamoshiri デニムでアイヌの着物！拝見したいです。デニム布に針を通す時に、相当に指に力を込めて針を固定しなければならず、そこで指が痛くなってしまうのです。
