“What is Sashiko?” I answer that “Sashiko is a process of appreciating the fabric, and adding our care into it. ” Boro is an ultimate result of Sashiko. We made it like a placemat and table runner. Totally one of a kind. 「刺し子とは?」 との質問に、「布を大切に想い、手を加える工程」と答えるようになりました。刺し子はプロセスであって結果じゃない。 そんな刺し子の温かい工程が詰まったのが襤褸なんじゃないかと。作品風に襤褸を仕立てています。こういうのもあり。 2017-11-18 17:37:47 Source
