Traditional Shippou Pattern with a bit of improvisation of adding more circles, then completed as the Jackets. The Japanese prayed for the better life with the geometric pattern. For Shippou (七宝）, the character means Seven Treasure, which I believe they prayed for the wealth for their family back in Japan….
