atsushijp, 2017年7月15日

A few hours of needlework to repair the torn Sashiko Card-Wallet. I should have planned better… but it looks pretty good. My finger’s pain is the by-product. This is probably how people made Boro back in Japan… sincere respect to people a few hundreds years ago. Oh, good Sashiko thread is very strong so it is good for reparing as well.

The more I host Sashiko Workshop, the more Sashiko friend I have in the world. Enjoying their work Sashiko (inspired) crafting is the best thing as a Sashiko instructor. Thank you for sharing the items and great job, @carolinegreennyc ★ ワークショップを重ねて、いろんな素敵なご縁を頂いて、どんどん刺し子の輪が広まっているなぁと感じています。 ★ 2018-07-24 16:39:54 Source

As Sashiko gets popular in recycling the fabric, I sometimes receive a question about my opinion regarding “pollution from fashion industry”. I am not an ecologist. I respect the fashion industry to enrich the human life. So, my opinion is nothing eccentric = I hope we can find a solution…
