All of these traditional Sashiko will be one Denim Jeans after patching them together.

I mended most of my denim, yet wanted to do Sashiko with Denim Fabric. So I decided “repurpose” instead of “Mend”. Well… I am getting a bit nervous if I can do well for this project. It will be one of my representative work when I complete it. I respect the fashion trend of “repurposing” and “Recycling (Upcycling)”. I am happy to be part of the movement.

今更なのだけど、この様々な柄の薄くなったデニム布地を、一枚のジーンズに繋ぎ合わせる（戻す）プロジェクトって、相当気合がいるよなぁと（笑）「デニムに触りたい」という思いで簡単に始めちゃったけど……なんとかなるのか不安にも。でも、形にさえできれば、相当カッコよくはなると思うのです。10月中には繋ぎ合わせる作業に入れればと思います。
