The photo of Asanoha-stitching is not from us. It is from one of the participants of Sashiko Online Class. I am sooo happy she could get the “rhythm” throughout the Online Sashiko Class.

It has been a month or so since I released the Online Sashiko Class. As I mentioned before, I was (still am) scared by the “Online” factor if I can delive the same experience as I do in person. I start receiving many good reviews. I appreciate these reviews. Moreover, however, this stitching photo explains that I can be confident in offering the Sashiko Class Online.
☆
Sashiko isn’t about making one perfect stitch. It is about enjoying the process (rhythm & movement) to make the beautiful Sashiko stitches as the results. The Online Sashiko Class is opened throughout the year, and you can take it whenever & wherever you want (Video subscription is for a year). If you are interested, please find the article from the link on our profile. It is an opportunity to learn the basic & core of Sashiko we joyfully practice.

In order to preserve one specific culture, I focus on “people” rather than a group, an organization, and even a bigger entity. Each Individual mindset is more important than collective decisions made by big organizations. What I try to preserve is quite insignificant to the majority (and yet very significant…

One of the happiest news we can celebrate is from a customer with wearing what we make for them. Among many types of interpretation of Sashiko, we believe the fundamental beauty of Sashiko exists in a process (day) of “using” it. Therefore, we make Noragi (Workman style Jacket) and bags…

Fukin (Japanese Dish Cloth) is one of the most popular Sashiko materials in practicing hand-stitching. In a live-streaming, I am trying to make an art out of ordinary Sashiko items. Let’s see how I explore. ★The first time that I got a bit of dark stain from a Sashiko Thimble….
