It was a long week. I started “working” after I kissed my daughter’s forehead for good night. Although all of the workshops are cancelled, it is fortunate that I can still work from my house – a mail-order house (online store) is operational. (I follow all of the necessary precaution measures such as wiping the plastic surface with disinfectant wipe).
☆
I had been super busy with focusing on the workshop. I enjoyed so many great opportunities. At the same time, I couldn’t make time to focus on updating the website. After all, I am a small only-family-oriented business. ☆
The future updates include Sashiko thread, other thread, Made in Japan fabric, Sashiko stitched fabric, Boro to be pieces, and Sashiko items. I am well-aware that many experience financial instability now. So, please don’t feel pressured. We will overcome the crisis. I would like to keep the “ordinary in Sashiko” so that many can come back to Sashiko. If one is somewhat financially stable & in need of Sashiko supplies, please consider us as your supplier. Your choice will be a great help in sustaining the culture, especially when we all face difficulties. Thank you very much for following this account. I will keep sharing our Sashiko photos. For more stories & beautiful photos of Sashiko, please follow @Sashi.Co
