I am working on our website to introduce our “Limited One-of-a-Kind” Sashiko Thread, naturally dyed by Keiko’s hands. Yes, since it is Natural Dyed & Hand-Dyed, all of the Natural Dye Sashiko Thread is “One of a Kind”. Among these beautiful Natural Dye Sashiko Thread, we occasionally have the thread we cannot “reproduce”, the irregular Natural Dye, with limited amount available. Upcycle Stitches purchased some of those threads from Sashi_Co (Keiko’s business), and I am getting ready to offer them on our website.
☆
Unfortunately, we cannot promise that we will be able to have the similar threads in the future. Keiko is trying her best to keep “Try & Error”, but it is very difficult to repeat the “irregular” outcome. I put some of them on the website. For today, the “Dark Coral (or Salmon Pink) from Madder” Sashiko thread is listed. Some Indigo Blue & Green will be listed sometimes soon. Natural Dye is one big field to control… (or we probably need to understand it is impossible to control).

Slowly, but surely I am listing what we have created in the last 5 years for sale. We try our best to follow the practice the Japanese would have done a few hundred years ago… Of course, all-hand stitched with Japanese vintage fabric, with a lot of caring & stitching….

These are gorgeous — I would call that a coral color. Beautifully done!
