Our Sashiko Story to Your Sashiko Journey

As I am almost done with annual admin work, I will be spending a little bit more

atsushijp, 2024年3月23日

As I am almost done with annual admin work, I will be spending a little bit more time updating our websites. Well… I am not a good web designer. As a result, I end up having several websites to achieve what I need: (1) UpcycleStitches.Com for the database of all the things I have been doing. It is the 1st website I started in 2016 or so. (2) JapaneseSashiko.Com for summarized information & follow-up for Customers & Workshop Participants. (3) SashikoStory.com, which I created in 2023 to improve the Shopping Experience by using Shopify. They are all important websites – and I would like to keep them updated as much as I can.
☆
At this point, unfortunately, I don’t have enough budget/skill to integrate these 3 websites… so, all I can do is keep sharing the stories to keep them updated. As (1) UpcycleStitches.com is linked to this Instagram Account, the post will be automatically created on this account. If you find the post interesting, please check UpcycleStitches.com for the details. I often write a fairly long article to explain the situation.
☆
It is my best intention to offer a better shopping experience & offer more of what we have. It will be on (3) SashikoStory.Com, and if you have a request for shopping or learning, please let me know so I can add them to my “To-Do-List”.

UpcycleStitches.

One of the most popular Sashiko Thread among our store… yet, it is limited so I do not always carry: The beautiful Indigo Dye, and “uneven/variegated/gradient” Sashiko thread. The origin of this thread was “by accident”. I used this thread in one Live Streaming as the “second rate” Sashiko thread….
