You may already know this wisdom. I have shared the “Full Length” Tutorial on my Youtube Channel available to anyone (on 9/21/2020 – https://youtu.be/ekKoGmr2Ap0). I used my thread up in today’s Live Streaming & I remember a comment saying it took few hours to untangle the thread. I am here sharing a quick video of me preparing the thread for tomorrow’s Sashiko.

☆

There are reasons why we call it “Sashiko Thread”. The Thread Matters. Sashiko became popular and many manufacturers now offer Sashiko Thread, but our Sashiko thread requires a bit of extra tip to keep them in a good shape. It isn’t difficult at all. It is just a matter of knowing it or not. (If you are about to unskein the thread, please check the full video above).

Well, although I don’t have a pair of denim with a hole to mend as of now, it isn’t good enough reason to stop enjoying Sashiko on the Denim. My firned gave me a denim which she will no longer wear. Initially, I was thinking to use it as the…

Life is too short to get everything you dream of. However, Life is long enough to make “it” happen. People I met in Otsuchi through Sashiko project after the earthquake taught me the mission I would like to make “it” happen. 2 of exhibitions of Otsuchi Sashiko will take place…
