I am working on our website to introduce our “Limited One-of-a-Kind” Sashiko Thread, naturally dyed by Keiko’s hands. Yes, since it is Natural Dyed & Hand-Dyed, all of the Natural Dye Sashiko Thread is “One of a Kind”. Among these beautiful Natural Dye Sashiko Thread, we occasionally have the thread we cannot “reproduce”, the irregular Natural Dye, with limited amount available. Upcycle Stitches purchased some of those threads from Sashi_Co (Keiko’s business), and I am getting ready to offer them on our website.
☆
Unfortunately, we cannot promise that we will be able to have the similar threads in the future. Keiko is trying her best to keep “Try & Error”, but it is very difficult to repeat the “irregular” outcome. I put some of them on the website. For today, the “Dark Coral (or Salmon Pink) from Madder” Sashiko thread is listed. Some Indigo Blue & Green will be listed sometimes soon. Natural Dye is one big field to control… (or we probably need to understand it is impossible to control).

We restocked the Indigo Dyed Sashiko thread from Sashi.Co & Keiko Futatsuya. Keiko hand-dyes the supreme quality Sashiko thread (cotton 100%) with Natural Indigo. We carry 2 shades, dark and light blue. (The photo is for light blue). ☆ The colors are perfect for many Sashiko projects, and they even…

I stated, on @SashikoStory, that all the fabric has the possibility of being “Boro”. It probably clarifies what Sashiko & Boro are. A process of adding stitches to a piece of fabric is called Sashiko (in broader definition). It is the beginning of a journey of the fabric with meeting…

These are gorgeous — I would call that a coral color. Beautifully done!
