You may be tired of reading/listening, but one of the biggest goals of my activities in Sashiko is to create/maintain the “place” – or “community”. Sashiko (or any hand-crafting) can be a lonely hobby/work. I want them to know that they have a place to belong to. Sashiko Live is one of these places I admire. Now, it is becoming “Sashiko Talk” where I can invite my precious friends to talk about Sashiko. I want you to join, listen, and learn. We may answer your questions as well.

Please join the “Sashiko Talk” with your own project – doesn’t have to be Sashiko, but something you can keep your hands busy. They used to get together in a village. We can get together no matter where we are thanks to the Internet. Join it as you listen to the radio. Check/Listen to the previous Sashiko Talks so you will know enough to join the Sashiko Talk as a guest later on. I want “Sashiko Talk” to be the time to stop & stitch & feel the moment together – not a quick stop where they can get quick information (quick answer) and shallow understanding of how it looks. I am looking forward to spending time with you.

2/26、突然の配信になってしまいましたが、お伝えしたいことをしっかり言葉にできて良かったです。2/21の週末に投稿した沢山の英語文。そこに込めた思いと、「なぜ」をご説明できたかなと思います。文章で説明することも考えたのですが、僕は言葉を必要以上に使い回す傾向があって（行間を読ませたい文章を書いてしまう傾向にあって）、まずは編集がきかない配信でご説明ができたらと思った次第です。あの「襤褸ジャケット」への思いは、また文章で違う形で纏めます。2時間の長丁場ですが、ラジオを聞く感覚でご覧頂けたら嬉しいです。

隔週で「刺し子の部屋」という配信を続けます。その間で、今日みたいな一人で語る配信を続けていけたらと思っています。普段から英語の長文ばかりで、ややこしい印象を与えてしまっているかもしれませんが、基本的に「なんでもとりあえず受け止めてみる精神」で配信をしています。過去のアーカイブも沢山ございます。刺し子とSashi.Co、僕達の活動と思いを知って頂けたら嬉しいです。動画は全て上記のYoutubeチャンネルにございます。
