This is our 3rd year to offer the Sashiko Fukubukuro – a kind of “lucky bag” to celebrate the New Year. It was a happy surprise to experience the “Flash Sold Out” on my mother’s website (in Japanese for the Japanese market). I plan to make something similar toward the US & possibly the global market (where the postal service is accountable even under Covid-19). After helping Keiko, I am preparing for our Fukubukuro.
☆
With considering the previous year’s numbers, I do not think I would need to worry about a case of Sold-out of Fukubukuro in the States (in English). However, since the materials are somewhat limited, if you could consider getting it on the day we start offering, I can make sure that you can get the one you would like. The day of offering is: January 2nd, 2020 (I am thinking about 9 pm EST, but not decided). This year, we have 2 main types, and 3 price variations each. I will update more information toward the New Year’s day. It is our annual event with offering as much discount as possible on what we offer in our website.
☆
The More information of Fukubukuro can be found on our website – https://upcyclestitches.com/sashiko-fukubukuro-2021/

“Sashiko in the ordinary”. This is what Sashiko used to be for the Japanese, and what we (as @Sashi.Co) dream of again. We all benefit from industrial revolution & Mass-production/consumption. Ironically, though, the convenience increased the price of hand-made items. ☆ There is something more than “how beautiful it is”…

Another happy news to announce. The Sashiko Kinchaku (drawstring) bag, curated by Upcycle Stitches, stitched by Nana, welcomes its own debut. All hand stitched. Very well made for the usage of many years. I got questions, “What is Sashiko”? Well, there are many words to explain what Sashiko – but…
