I am very much in love with this Indigo Blue, Hand-Dyed by Keiko @Sashi.Co. Kakishibu & this Indigo is my all-time favorite. The solid Indigo blue, as the second photo shows, can be very good on Denim. (Color won’t be washed away when the appropriate procedure is taken – like no bleach). From time to time, however, we get this kind of “accidental” thread. Although It is probably “Okay” to consider this as the Solid Blue because of the characteristic of “hand-dye with Natural Ingredients”, when my eyes catch it, I put them into the separate box. They go to “No-Numbered Color” or “Special Box” where customers trust me for picking the thread color.
☆
Since I have some “accidental” A-1 Blue thread in stock, I am wondering if this interests some of you. It is about 20% discounted price on it due to a very small “spot” of different color. We have the thread for “variegated” and “Uneven” in which Keiko creates on purpose. However, this is purely by “accident” and it is, for that matter, very much one of a kind. Check our website for the update. Have a great weekend & Enjoy Sashiko!

In my Workshop, I often talk about how I keep our Sashiko Thread in braiding shape. As I often work on White Threads, I didn’t have many chances to take photos of what I meant. So here is a photo of all 15 Color Threads that I used for Furoshiki…
