Another ”quick” answer for a question (or more like a worry from them). Some advised me saying, “Thank you for sharing your technique and knowledge. However, shouldn’t you protect them as Intellectual Property (IP)?”. Very true. I probably should, but I won’t. Although I haven’t given up the copyright, my primary goal is to share the “more fact-base” understanding of Japanese Sashiko & Boro. By “fact-base”, I am not talking about Right or Wrong in Sashiko, more like the voice from a native-Japanese who currently practice Sashiko after so many years of experience. ☆
Feel free to quote what I say/write here. Share the wisdom with your friends and family. I will not patrol around to find someone’s using my words. If someone is stealing my words intentionally, then they know that they are doing the wrongful things more than anyone. It is not me to accuse them. After all, I am a believer of (good) humanity. Well, of course, mentioning our account (@Sashi.Co) would be very helpful to achieve our goal – to share the Sashiko we practice. Other than that, we are simply passing down the wisdom we inherited from the Japanese who became the part of heritage and history. What I say/do is not someone’s property. It belongs to humanity, for that matter. ☆
