There is a lot of definitions of the word “Work.” I personally believe “work” is “to leave something behind (hand-down to)”. It is important to make profit to keep it sustainable. We all need it to maintain our life. At the same time, I want to remember that our activities are supported by Goodwill by the others. ☆
We are here now because of many supporters who understood us. I often say, “I don’t know how I can pay you back.” Interestingly, all of them told (taught) me, “Don’t worry. Do it to the others.” We are truly lucky to have met these people. Keiko and I are only a part of this beautiful sustainable circle, “Caring others”. I believe in us, the possibility of human being caring others and enjoying the process.
☆

The Japanese are quite familiar with the concept of Animism. We believe that a “thing” has each spirit in it. So does the fabric. One of the significance of Sashiko/Boro is feeling the spirit, I believe. It is not only celebrating the beauty as Art. ☆ We all have to…

It was a quite wild month, March 2024. We went through several big decisions in life, and I feel positive that we made good decisions. We all fear the “Changes”. Therefore, it is very challenging to change when we “try” to change it. An effective way to change oneself is…
