I really appreciate the interests in our Sashiko Workshop. The one in Lewisburg, PA (17837) is coming up next week (full). Since I would like to focus on the creative activity (like the previous Denim x Sashiko Project), I offer less workshop in NYC. I have a designated mailing list for those interested in NYC. I personally do not like the title of “teacher (or Sensei)” since I feel the titles imply the hierarchy. So, I consider the student (initially) to be my friends who shares the similar passion. Sashiko. Looking forward to sharing the Sashiko we enjoy with you.

気合いの入った企画が一段落したので、日本に住んでいらっしゃる日本語可能な方を対象にした企画のご紹介です。

(1) 第10回運針会について。「刺し子の運針」にご興味のある方に、私達の運針をお教えするオンラインでの集まりです。今回で最後にして、今年の夏を目安に、ビデオを中心にして運針と刺し子をご紹介するワークショップ（講座的なもの）を開始しようと思っています。運針会についての詳細は、プロフィールのリンクよりご確認頂ければと思います。今の所、5月23日（木）の夜9時頃から3時間の開始予定です。

(2) 「30人の麻の葉プロジェクト」について。「刺し子には正解はなくて、個性があって、それがいい！」と声を大にして言っているのですが、それを実際の形にしてみたくて、30人の方の麻の葉を集めて一つの作品にしてみよう……という企画をしています。刺し子において、大切にしていることが何点かあるので、少々の参加条件は付けてしまっていますが、「楽しく運針をされている方」であれば、是非ご検討頂ければと思っています。こちらの詳細も、プロフィールのリンクよりご確認頂けたら幸いです。
