Sashiko is well-known for the beauty in imperfection. You know the value of being imperfect. Accepting the beauty in imperfection, we can stop judging others, especially oneself. Trust me. I know I am the one who judges myself all the time. lol.

What I want to share is not only the Sashiko technique but wisdom the Japanese cultivated. ☆
Since last year, I recite some Buddhism mantra in my meditation. With the beginning of the new year, it expanded a bit and enjoy the flow of words after the meditation. I use Sashiko as the part of the meditation and enjoy it very much. ☆
実は昨年末くらいから日々の瞑想に御真言を暗唱してみています。これが案外気持ちいい。刺し子にも取り入れて見ようかなんて思いつつ。昔からお経には興味があって、家の宗派の浄土真宗のお坊さんが読むお経は聞いてたけど、いろんな点が線になる感覚があって面白いです。瞑想後に言葉が溢れてくるのは、なんか不思議。
