Thank you for many comments that the stitching image (from Live Streaming) is inspiring and helpful. I am happy that I am on the exact path to share what Sashiko is like. Here is a short clip of our running stitch.
☆
Atsushi is offering the Sashiko Workshop to share the Running Stitch (Unshin) as well as the other basic & core of Sashiko. We are thinking to reduce the frequency of Workshop in 2019, making it a bit slow to work on our Sashiko items more. So please don’t miss this opportunity, and get ready for the cold winter with “addictive” Sashiko stitching. I am joining 75 COLLECTIVE (the75collective) and very happy to share what we are proud of.

久々の運針の動画です。12月8日と9日のワークショップ。尊敬する知人に誘われての参加です。準備期間が短いのだけど、それでも沢山の人に出会えると良いなぁと思っています。

Why do you leave a loop at the end of the rows? Is the thread shrinks during washing?

You can find the answer to “why loop” here. It is one of the most frequent asked question. http://upcyclestitches.com/why-loops-in-sashiko-running-stitching/
