A Sashiko Workshop following by Sashiko on Denim is coming up this weekend, 9/29

A Sashiko Workshop following by Sashiko on Denim is coming up this weekend, 9/29 at Tatter Blue Library, @tatterbluelibrary in Brooklyn. Immerse yourself in the whole day of Sashiko experience, from basic to applying to your own garment.
★
As you can see, the studio’s theme is “Blue”. We are also in love of Blue (=Indigo – Japan Blue). I will talk about what is my understanding of Japan Blue with actural samples, Sashiko Jacket and Sashiko thread. Sashiko, Indigo, and apply them to your Denim. I will meet you there 😀 | ★

Another order for Sashiko on the Jacket.

Another order for Sashiko on the Jacket. The jacket has the complicated structure, but I decided to go with the Japanese traditional pattern. With permission, I will share the photos with updates! — 2018-06-04 16:37:49 Source

Another great photo from Keiko.

Another great photo from Keiko. When Keiko sends photos, she sends a month amounts of photos at once. This is a bag made by Keiko’s workshop graduates, Boro inspired patchwork bag. One of the kind, for sure. It looks wonderful and we are glad that the participant enjoys it. …
