Japanese Noren (暖簾)- (A store curtain) for a small exhibition of Keiko’s work in Gujo. We try to follow the traditions as much as we can. We simply would like to respect how it used to be done.

ご縁を頂き、郡上八幡樂藝館にて恵子さんの作品の一部を展示して頂くこととなりました。「ん〜。展示室が、刺し子ってぱっとわかるようにしたいなぁ」と、刺し子暖簾を藍染め。なんだその贅沢は(笑)でもムラムラです。

沢山の応援を頂いて、今までは贅沢だと思っていた布の染色にも手を出せています。しっかり形にしてご紹介していく所存です。今後共宜しくお願いします〜!
