This is one of the popular Japanese geometric pattern, Seigaiha (Seikaiha). One of my projects in 2018 is to introduce some of these Japanese geometric patterns. 3 ready so I will start introducing them on my web & Youtube accordingly. ★
青のイメージが強い青海波柄ですが、オレンジもそれなりに面白いな……と思ったり。ちなみに青海波、海の波をイメージした名前だと思っている人もいるかもしれませんが、(確か)考案者の名前から名付けられた柄です。こういう柄をいろいろご紹介していけたらいいなぁと思っています。
